For Immediate Release October 7, 2009 Launch of new marketing website! The Municipality of French River is pleased to announce the launch of the new Visitor’s Centre marketing website. As a collaborative project, the Municipality of French River has joined forces with the French River Visitor’s Centre to provide prospective tourists with a taste of French River. The purpose behind this new website was to get tourists thinking about French River and as their next travel destination. Interactive kiosks are also physically located at the French River Visitor’s Centre. These kiosks have been designed as a one stop shop for information in the area in an attempt to get visitors off the beaten path as they explore more of French River. The site will provide a wealth of information on camping, fishing, hunting, restaurants, golfing, events, arts & culture, etc. A resorts directory can also be found on the new site as tourists choose their accommodations. Loads of information and services regrouped into a user-friendly site for simplified surfing and a search engine to support quick access to the information tourists need. Now, French River can respond even more adequately to the needs of all tourists, whether they have visited the area before or whether they plan on doing so in the near future.
